Scott Frost Denied Entrance To Press Box At National Championship

Former UCF Knights coach Scott Frost might now be with the Nebraska Cornhuskers now, but that doesn't mean his former team's exclusion from the College Football Playoff doesn't still bother him. Twitter, of course, has something to say on both sides of the argument and some think the brackets should be expanded.

"I'm fine with it", Saban said.

"It looked like a conscious effort to me to make sure that they didn't have a problem if they put us too high and a couple teams ahead of us lost". The Knights did have a solid season and beat Auburn in the Peach Bowl, but Alabama remains a different animal.

Luckily, everything got sorted out and he was allowed to enjoy the pre-game feast.

"I'd love to see it go to eight (teams)", he said on SportsCenter this morning.

Rick Scott issued a proclamation Monday declaring the University of Central Florida football team as national champions in Florida after their undefeated season.

White said the school is doling out national championship bonuses that's called for in the contracts of the football staff.

However, despite holding a perfect record, a conference title and the top-ranked scoring offense in the country, UCF never had the chance to compete in the College Football Playoff.

Eventually, Frost was allowed into the press box as a discussion about expanding the playoff field to eight teams ironically loomed on a television playing ESPN in the background.
