HMD Global's Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018) to launch in January: Report

It has been confirmed, by the Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, that the Nokia 3 will skip Nougat and will directly jump on board the Oreo train. Amidst all the rumours, a new report coming from China reveals that HMD Global will be hosting an event to launch the Nokia 9 on Jan 19. Similar to the Nokia 8, chances are, Nokia 9 is going to be a high-end phone as well.

The new report suggests that both the phones, including Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 2018 edition may come with some very similar features like - 18:9 display and will be powered by Qualcomm's latest processor Snapdragon 835 chipset.

The handset, which will reportedly ship with Android 8.0 Oreo onboard and offer IP67 certification, will be made available with either 64GB or 128GB storage and MyDrivers claims it'll ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in favour of audio over USB-C.

Australia aprueba los matrimonios homosexuales
Debido a que se requiere un periodo de un mes para que el estado reconozca un matrimonio, las primeras uniones legales de personas del mismo sexo se harán en enero.

Soon after HMD Global announced the Nokia 8 earlier this year, a company executive confirmed the existence of the Nokia 9.

According to the site, HMD Global - the company behind the phone - will also announce the Nokia 8 (2018) at the event.

While it is mandatory for devices launching with Oreo, it requires extra work for devices that came to life with an older version. Going by the leaked specs details, Nokia 9 will come with a 5.5-inch QHD display. The device is also expected feature IP68 water and dust protection. The camera will have 4K shooting capability and at least of the modules will feature a 12Megapixel unit. Its not impossible – the original Pixels got Treble (of course), but so did the Essential Phone along with the Huawei Honor 9 and Honor 8 Pro.
