"There's times when second is good enough, and there's times when second will be good enough this weekend as long as one of the other three isn't in front of me", said Busch.

Denny Hamlin posted the fastest lap in Saturday morning's Cup practice at Homestead-Miami Speedway with a lap of 171.130 mph.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., ahead of his final planned Monster Energy Series start, had engine issues in his No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. Title contender Kyle Busch (167.188) was 16th and title contender Kevin Harvick (167.017) was 17th. Busch finished sixth last season at Homestead, losing a championship to Jimmie Johnson.

Four drivers will race one more race for the championship.

Brad Keselowski is probably the least favored of the four contenders for the championship. But, in the second half, Busch turned it on and won five races including three in the playoffs.

The popular favorite to win the title is Martin Truex Jr. Additionaly, there has been no one better on the intermediate mile and a half tracks this season.

John Wiedemann is the owner, editor and developer of the website. Closing out the season with an impressive 18 top 5's and 25 top 10's, once again Martin Truex Jr. finds himself in the Championship 4. Truex has been the top driver throughout the regular season and the playoffs. The team was working on a brake issue on his No. 2 Team Penske Ford that limited his practice time to just five laps. "2015 was obviously a crazy year for him, and I think his attitude was he was playing with house money". But to ignore him would be a mistake.

But Wilson knows Busch won't be so chill should he come up short on Sunday. Ironically, he is the only driver of the Championship 4 that has never won a championship.
