Google Pixel 2 specs, details and camera revealed in massive leak

Images that claim to show the front and back of the Google Pixel 2 have been shared by 9to5Google. If history is any indicator, they could announce something like a Snapdragon 845 toward the end of this year with release happening in early 2018. But this year we are going to see Snapdragon 835 processor in all the flagships which is one of the best Mobile processors out there. While the render is highly distorted, the camera module and round-shaped fingerprint scanner can be seen in renders. The feature is similar to Samsung's Bixby Vision and was announced at the Google I/O event in May. There will be dedicated buttons on the headphones to activate Google Assistant without touching the smartphone. The phones will ship with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter where the users would be able to plug in their 3.5mm headphones. It might be possible that the 64GB model could be the base variant. However, Google doesn't allow you to access the listing via the Play Store app.

The first screenshot showed the Pixel XL 2 with dual front speakers. The smartphone will compete with the top-air-flagships of this year including Galaxy Note 8, OnePlus 5 and iPhone 8.

Google's upcoming Pixel smartphones for 2017 are about a month away from being officially unveiled, and so far, there have been a ton of rumors making rounds around the internet. The image isn't clear enough and have been deliberately blurred to safeguard leaker's identity; however, the slate-gray Pixel 2 is visible and 'Silver-Black' colour of the rear panel is visible. Surprisingly, Google did not add another camera sensor to its handsets. The devices will likely run Android 8.0 Oreo at the time of the launch.

According to earlier rumors - backed by the credibility of Evan Blass - the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices will be launched on October 5, 2017.
